Today was our last school day. In the lesson, we continued writing short stories. We shared our own ideas and I appreciated all of our amazing stories. After lesson, we practiced American football. It was different from the football in Hong Kong. We separated into 4 groups and the coaches were so patient to teach us the skills. At the end, we had a mini-competition and we were excited. In the evening, we had a graduation dinner. All host families brought their food to share with us. Our host family made salad. It was yummy that it all went out. I hope I can keep in touch with the people I met here, including friends and teachers. By Carrie

As usual, we had lessons in the morning. We had a debate competition today, with the motion, 'Is it good to have zoo?'. We gave a number of arguments to support our stance.  In the afternoon, we went to Saskatoon Forestry Farm Zoo. I saw a lot of animals that could not be found in Hong Kong. I was interested in an owl that could make its neck a 270 ° turn. It was amazing. We took many photos there. When we went back home, host grandparents came to visit us. We had pizza and cucumber for dinner. By Valerie

20th July

Today, we had class from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as usual. Then after class, we went go-karting. First, we needed to wear a helmet. Then, we lined up and listened to instructions from the staff before we rode the go-karts. I was scared at first but was really excited later. In my first round, I was disappointed that I chose the slowest go-kart. Luckily, I got on the fastest go-cart in the second round, and I drove fast. It was quite fun to drive a go-kart. I definitely would ride the go-karts again in Hong Kong! By Ho Ying
